pbs kids show with roller coaster intro?

Does anyone remember a show that came on pbs in the afternoons with a boy and a girl doing science related stuff? i remember one episode where the boy cooked for his sister and got her sick cause he was using the same utensils for raw and cooked meat. the was also an episode where they put their bare hands and hands with shortening in ice water to show how blubber works in whales or something. but what i remember best was the intro was like a virtual roller coaster ride. Please help… its driving me crazy!
