Big Book

Does anyone know of like a big book of history?

I am looking for a book that I could preferably get at Barnes And Noble, that covers history from the dinosaurs to the old west. I’m a big history buff, even if the book is on the expensive side and even if it’s just short snipits in each sections please let me know.

There’s one I got from Barnes and Noble called Atlas of World History. It has an antique looking map as the cover and it’s a pretty good synopsis of history. Also, if you love history, check out the Bathroom Reader’s book called Plunges into History. It has articles on the history of products, history facts that are less known, historical figures’ biographies… it’s awesome if you love history like I do.
